Welcome to Vankleek Hill
Welcome to Vankleek.net, the first website for the town of Vankleek Hill on the internet.
Since this site began in 1998, it has become the primary portal to the internet for Vankleek Hill, and a means of 'coming back' to Vankleek Hill for our expats and long-time visitors. Vankleek.net has grown into a collection of informative websites about our area, and is the jumping board to local businesses on the web.
I hope you enjoy visiting the site, as well as the town, and please, keep those emails coming!

This morning (October 2) at roughly 10:40 AM, there was an explosion on Fournier Street in the subdivision of Vankleek Hill caused by a natural gas leak. There is no news on injuries at this time.
Confused students at local schools were evacuated after the explosion and discovery of the gas leak, but are now back in class.
Residents and workers as far away as the Vankleek Hill Industrial Park felt and heard the explosion and could see flying debris and smoke.
The Annual May Show Festival Author M Jason Parent - Thu May 18 2006 - 11:11
May 1st, 1982 saw a collection of twelve artists - many of whom still participate in the May Show - showing their talents at what is now Three Owls Gallery and Studio in the first ever May Art Show. The event was such a success that it was decided to continue the tradition. In 1983 boutiques joined in the festivities, and the Vankleek Hill May Art Show attracted Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, Academy Award-winner Terri Nash and the head of Canada's Art Bank Bill Kerby.
This weekend marks the 25th annual May Show Festival in Vankleek Hill. Come out on the 20th through 22nd on the streets of Vankleek Hill to join in the festivities!
