Champlain Trade Fair

Nestled in a wooded lot next to historic Higginson Tower in the middle of the village, Arbor Gallery is the ideal site for your exhibit, meeting, or special event. Visitors to Arbor Gallery quickly realize that the elegant Victorian architecture and ambiance lends itself particularly well to art exhibitions of many different media and techniques. Most shows are booked for a two week period and include a vernissage on the first Sunday of each exhibit so that guests may meet the artists in person over wine and cheese.

As the year 2006 begins, Arbor Gallery is planning an exciting year of presentations, exhibitions, parties and special events. We cordially invite you to become members as "Friends of Arbor Gallery" and help support local cultural events.
We begin the year with our 2006 Speaker Series. Fourteen consecutive Saturday evenings have been set aside for "Interesting Talks with Interesting People". In its tenth year, this series has become increasingly well attended. In fact, some people join us on Saturday evening just to partake of the delicious desserts provided by Audrey Den Boer.
Starting in April, visual art shows featuring local and well known artists are being planned. A full schedule of 2006 Art Exhibitions and Events will be available later this winter.

Some of the events planned for 2006 are:

  • A Wine Tasting Party in the Garden
  • An afternoon of Tea and Chocolate
  • A Jazz Festival on Labour Day weekend
