Making a Pledge to History

Vankleek Hill and District Historical Society President Michelle Landriault stands with Dwight Proudfoot in front of the McCuaig-Cheney building at 95 Main Street East in Vankleek Hill. The historical society is in the process of collecting $500 founder pledges for the museum, archives and visitor information centre which will be located in the building in the background; the building was the first brick structure built in Vankleek Hill and was at one time a store. Proudfoot is one of the first people to make a $500 pledge.
