Beavertail Splash in a Pond at Highridge Farms

A Pictorial Tour of Vankleek Hill

This is our area for photographic tours of the area. We look forward to individuals, classes or organizations contributing descriptions and photographs to present a tour.

Wild Animals

Living on a farm with plenty of forest and wetlands, we're lucky to see many wild animals (some of which are more welcome than others!). Our pond is visited by moose, beavers, herons, mallards, fish and snapping turtles. Around the farm we see skunks, frogs, toads, bluejays, robins, red-wing blackbirds, woodpeckers, chickadees, hummingbirds and much more!

This page will be home to the pictures of the wild animals we see. If you get a picture of a wild animal, why not submit it- we'd be glad to put it up here! Kids- never approach a wild animal without a grownup's supervision, and if you capture an animal, don't forget to set it free outside once you're done!
